“Best of” 2019

As we reflect on 2019, we can’t help but be grateful for all that our CMN partners have done for us and our patients. To celebrate some big wins this year, we put together a “best of” 2019.

• Ace Hardware Shootout: This March, Blair O’Neal won the Ace Shootout in Hawaii. She allotted her $15,500 winnings to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Read more about it here.
• 19th annual Give-A-Thon: With the help of KTAR News 92.3 FM and 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station, our Give-A-Thon raised a record-breaking $1.82M for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The Give-A-Thon was also recognized as a member of the CMN 2019-20 Miracle Million Club. Read more about it here.
• Walmart & Sam’s Club name Phoenix Children’s General Pediatrics clinic: In October, the 32-year partnership and nearly $14 million contribution was recognized with a naming in the Phoenix Children’s General Pediatrics clinic. Read more about it here.
• Desert Financial Credit Union clears 1Darn Cool School wish list: During one of their visits this December, DFCU really showed their holiday spirit by surprising our 1Darn Cool School teachers. They came to volunteer in the school and surprised the teachers with nearly 100 books (every single one on their wish list!)

Of course, we are always thankful for all of our partners and trying to list everything that they did would be nearly impossible. Thank you to everyone who helps bring world-class health care to our patients who need it at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Now heading into 2020, we are so excited what the New Year will bring. To welcome a New Year, we want to welcome some new friends as well.
