Bret Saberhagen Named Ace Shootout Online Fan Favorite

Two-time Cy Young winner and former MLB pitcher Bret Saberhagen was named “Fan Favorite” in the Ace Shootout online voting campaign. More than 5,000 votes were cast over two weeks, and Bret received 3,200 of those votes.

Bret represented Team Baseball with fellow pitcher Roger Clemens at the 2018 Ace Shootout. While Team Baseball didn’t take home the win, Bret will receive a $10,000 donation to Akron Children’s Hospital for winning the online fan favorite.
