Greg Maddux played golf to change kids’ health during the 2024 Ace Shootout!

On April 22 at 8 pm ET tune in to watch Greg Maddux go head-to-head with fellow athletes and entertainers in a series of golf challenges as he raises critical funds needed for St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Nile, one of the Ace All-Star Champions, was born prematurely with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, curved spine (scoliosis), absent right ear, coloboma of his left eye and tethered cord. Nile embodies resilience and nothing seems to bring him, or his smile, down. He doesn’t complain through the many surgeries, braces, tests or procedures.

His perseverance has taught countless people in his life how to be strong and continue to look towards a brighter future. Donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fund treatments, equipment and services to help kids like Nile unlock a world of possibility.

The players are championing to change kids’ health during this year’s Ace Shootout to raise critical funds for the local member hospitals to ensure children can lead healthy, fulfilling lives while also fostering the builders and creators of tomorrow.

We asked Greg Maddux about his experience playing in the Ace Shootout benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and children like Nile. This was his wonderful response:

“It’s a lot of fun. It’s great coming to Hawaii and it’s great being able to help the kids. After some visits to the St. Rose Dominican hospitals in Vegas kids are fighting a huge battle. You see the worry in the parents face and you see the pain the kids are in. You know anything you can help to alleviate that a little bit, more than happy to do it!

Children are at the center of everything we do, and a strong foundation for their tomorrow needs to start today. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals sees what the future can be, and with support from Ace Hardware and their vendor partners, we can ensure that it becomes a reality.

You can cheer for Greg Maddux on at the Ace Shootout on the Golf Channel airing April 22 at 8 pm ET.

Thank you Greg Maddux! We appreciate your support, always!

When you change kids’ health, you change the future – for all of us.
